Prepare your palate for the flavors of fall. Fresh seasonal produce takes the stage in our upcoming cooking class on September 24 at 11:30 a.m.
Heirloom squashes, tomatoes, corn, and apples are the foundation of the inspired menu. Chef Brooke Kravetz demonstrates the sous-vide technique, a cooking method in which food is placed under water in a sealed bag so it can be cooked at low temperatures. It will be your secret to easy holiday entertaining.

Kids in the Kitchen, June 25

We had a wonderful time with our first Kids in the Kitchen cooking class. The theme was “Play Dough” and the kids had a great time making pizza, pasta and parfaits. The kids had fun learning basic cooking skills (that resulted in some great lunch creations) and the parents enjoyed the spectacle. From the youngest to the oldest, all the students were involved, attentive, excited, and creative. A lot of them walked away with a souvenir of flour coating their faces. Chefs Jason Goddard and Josh Zeman, along with the rest of the Sea Salt crew, did an amazing job helping the kids have an unforgettable experience. Everyone inquired as to the next Kids in the Kitchen class, and we’re pleased to announce that it will take place July 30.

Last night’s cooking class featured beautiful fresh zucchini blossoms — delicious, especially stuffed and served with housemade orecchiette pasta. About 30 people attended the class and had a great time learning. The biggest question of the night: When’s the next class?
